When I made my first magazine journal, the first thing I did was turn it into a picture book, aka a glue journal. I loved the process and hope you will too! I’ve given a few tips but this is a flip-through, by popular demand. If you’d like me to do a tutorial, let me know below and feel free to ask any questions you might have.
My How-To Make a Journal from Magazines. This magazine journal was (I think) made from an issue of Where Women Create and an issue of Artful Blogging.
Some magazines I like to use to gather images:
- Artful Blogging (see my flip through)
- Where Women Create (see my flip through)
- Arabella (see my flip through)
- National Geographic
- The Simple Things
I also have a video on Collage Materials and Tools
Hope you have fun gathering and gluing! You may just learn something about the artist in you!
