Magazines for Journaling & Collage: Where Women Create

One of the questions I get most in the studio is “What magazines do you use for journaling, dreamboards and collage?” I thought I would do a little series on some of my favourites, including Where Women Create.

This is so fun, Jamie! It’s like sitting with you and looking at the magazine together. I can remember doing that with my friends or with my mom when I was growing up.
The ways that you find to share with us always is a delight! You are incredibly creative! What a gorgeous magazine this one is!

Thanks so much, Pamela. This time I was a bit worried I talked too much, LOL, so I appreciate hearing that you enjoyed it. Thanks for hanging out with me :)

That was a great flip-through Jamie! I loved how you took your time showing each artist and their creative spaces…it was as Pamela here put it, like sitting with you and I thought the same thing how I used to do that with my Mom and friends when I growing up. I was also pleasantly surprised by the magazine itself..again, I would not have purchased this one, but now I will one out. Thank you for the inspiring tour!

Thank you Jamie, I just loved this flip-through with you. I buy a lot of stampington magazines for inspiration and have never taken the time like you did in this video to look through it. I will look at my issues with different eyes. I enjoyed you commentary and the pace. It was great to spend some time with you!

You’re so welcome, Ivy. I just love that we get to hang out in this way. How wonderful it opened up some possibilities. That makes me beam! Thank you for taking the time to let me know.

I never thought a magazine flip through could be so much fun! Your personal insight, what you’re drawn to, and your creative encouragement throughout made it all the more inspiring, reflective and thought provoking. Loved this! Very uplifting.

    Be refreshed,
