Today: On Friday I said goodbye to my cat companion of 20 years, the dear, sweet Jinx. Today has been particularly difficult, as I go through my regular morning routine without her. Thank you for all of the love and support. It means so much.

It takes quite awhile for the heart to heal after such a long relationship is lost. I lost my dear sweet furry friend of 17 years 8 years ago, I thought I would never be able to endure that again, but I adopted 2 rescue cats a year later, one of those has passed on, but the other reminds me of the sweetness of feline love daily.
Oh, uli, thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sorry for your losses and so glad that we can be blessed by that “sweetness of feline love.” ((hugs))
