Day 8: Create Right Now (The Behind the Scenes is Back)

It feels a little weird to include myself in this series! For a week I’ve been asking myself how I want to show up during this pandemic and then it hit me – bring the BTS back! So, here we are.

On Tuesday mornings I invite you Behind the Scenes at my studio.

Today:  After quite a hiatus for our renovation I am back! On Tuesdays, I will share what’s going on behind the scenes at Jamie Ridler Studios. Today: In the midst of this pandemic crisis, what’s important? Why does it matter if we create right now?

Mentioned in Today’s Episode:

On the New Moon, I began a new blog series: 40 Days of Beauty, Goodness & Love, little moments of light to get us through a difficult time. If you get solace, peace and inspiration from this, please share with others who need the same.

YEAHj!!!!! So happy to see you in your space and in my space too. You always are such a ray of sunshine and hope. Thank you for doing bts again and I look forward to Tuesdays. Btw, you look wonderful. Like the longer hair. Noticed your bare hands/nails and they seemed to almost float around you in grace and lovliness. Be well.

Oh, Kris, thank you so much. Your words went straight to my heart and make me so glad to be back. I’m glad you like my longer hair – who knows the next time I’ll get it cut! A sign of the times. So are my bare hands. With so much vigorous washing, it made sense to take my rings off. You’ve made me see the grace in that too. ((hugs))

Jamie, so very glad to see you back in this Alsace, especially in this time. Seeing the studio as you continue to settle in brightened my day and felt so very hopeful and joyful. Thank you for taking the time for this offering!

    Welcome home Jamie!
This was the best surprise! Beginning April with you in your magical new studio space(ship)! The crystal chandelier is dreamy. I love the windows you have and know you will enjoy watching nature in every season there, with the kittens.
If I were there with you, I would sing “twinkle, twinkle little star” as a housewarming gift. Will you make a wish with me tonight?*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Oh, Pamela, thank you for the song! I could hear it in my heart. <3 I'm so glad to be back and sharing the new studio with you. The candelier and the windows are dreams come true!!!

Sweet Jamie…it has been such a treat to see the transition of your “new” home and studio. You have created a welcoming, nurturing space for you and for us. Thank you for these appropriate words today (well, not really today, but today was when I listened)! I have been driven, while sheltering in place, to tend to my studio and having a very difficult time with what to keep and what to discard…a paralyzing difficult time!!! What is no longer serving me (but it might someday) has stopped me cold. But, now I see a different way to look at the situation and know it won’t happen overnight, but now I know it will happen. Thank you, your words came at the perfect time for me and I send you gratitude and love for everything. I am so glad you are home. xoxo p.
