Sharing Our Journal Stories: Akiyo Kano

In support of Give a Girl a Journal, which launches February 14th, I’ve invited some of my dear friends and colleagues to share their personal experience with journaling.

Today I am delighted to share with you the journal story of Akiyo Kano of Journaling Sage. After years of struggle, Akiyo is now prolific in her journaling – as you’ll see when she shares her wonderful shelf of colourful journals! She knows that when you give a girl a journal, you empower that girl. I know you will enjoy all that Akiyo has to share.

Thank you to Akiyo for sharing her story. You can find her at JournalingSage.com and on her YouTube Channel.

Wow, Akiyo! You expressed that so clearly – give hope, confidence, and freedom through a journal. I was nodding my head YES at all of your insights about journaling.
I agree that we get to meet our real selves in our journals and I liked how you phrased the way it happens, “Hey you. . . it’s nice to meet you.” Thank you for sharing your fantastic shelf of books with us, too! Beautifully done!
