Be Your Own Best Friend

On Tuesdays I invite you Behind the Scenes at my studio.

Today:  We’re spending a lot of time in self-isolation. How much better would it be if we learned to be our own best friend? Let’s talk about how we can do that.

I love being alone. As an introvert I crave it. So this lock-down has not been so hard on me. However, I have blamed myself for not being productive. Self compassion is absolutely necessary for all of us and framing it as “Be your own best friend” is excellent. It also reminds us to have fun!

    Jamie,
I have lived most of my adult life alone and as a child was mostly solitary. I became my best friend as a child and now at 64 am amazed at what that relationship has grown into. I am so kind, caring, nurturing towards myself but also value my discipline, playfulness and joy. I am indeed loved and hope I share that with others. thanks for this video
