Art Journaling, Open Streets and from Meh to Magic

Every weekday morning I invite you Behind the Scenes at my studio.

Today: Learning is everywhere, from going to a new hair stylist to using a kid’s poetry book for an art journal to walking down the middle of some of the busiest streets in Toronto!

Mentioned in Today’s Show…

And here’s more from my guitar teacher, Raffi Altounian

Plus… Today’s Good Morning Garden!

I’ve been sharing these daily garden pics on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter with the hashtag #goodmorninggarden.

I thought you might enjoy them here too.

Nice guitar ending – the acoustic tones are still playing in my head as I write. Mmm. .. . .
The Popcorn Book – I have that book and used it with my Kindergarten kids when I taught years ago. I still read some of the poems – one of my favorites is Jane on page 95 – “Beginning on Paper”. From page 113 to the end – lots of beautiful poems and drawings – Fireflies, too! Your poetic spirit and childlike joy will truly soar with this book*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Oh! Isn’t that wonderful, Pamela. I just love knowing that we have the popcorn book in common, hehe. I love the picture that goes with Beginning on Paper. I think I might art journal it into writing “Jamie” hehe. What fun!
